Things To Do

A visit to Las Trampas Regional Wilderness Park is a top spot for a day of exploration, as this is a beautiful area with many hiking trails. Likewise, Forest Home Farms Historic Park offers a range of year-round activities and is suitable for families with children. Take your kids to Forest Home and learn what life was like on a farm in the Victorian era. 
 
Of all its various events, San Ramon’s Art and Wind Festival is the most famous, and for good reason. The festival draws visitors from all parts of the country wanting to experience part of San Ramon’s vibrant arts scene. Attendees can treat themselves to street food while enjoying live music. Kids can create and fly kites and watch choreographed flying demonstrations.
 
A great local farmers’ market graces the community: the San Ramon Farmers’ Market. The gathering occurs Saturday mornings at City Center Bishop Ranch. If you don’t know any of the vendors yet, you can meet many of them in person at the market (or become a vendor yourself!).
 
If golf is the name of the game, you can book a tee time at The Bridges Golf Club. After your round, get lunch or dinner at the club’s onsite restaurant, which provides contemporary Californian cuisine.
